Official pics of the meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Mr Trivendra Singh Rawat at his residence at Dehradun. The Meeting lasted for about 30 minutes with a lengthy discussion about Feeling Minds ® and Hema Foundation’s vision to bring Emotional Education to every child in the country. The Chief Minister sat through the video presentation and asked many relevant questions during the discussions. He has in principle given his consent for a State partnership for bringing Psychology to everyone.
An hour long deliberation with Director, NCERT, Shri Hrishikesh Senapathy Sir today at his office. The discussion was centered on integrating Value Based Education in the school curriculum. Feeling Minds ® has been a part of the initiative of the Ministry of HRD, Govt of India in drafting the policy for “Experiential Education” to be included in the NCF.
We were amongst the 30 organizations invited from all over the country to make a presentation of our suggestions and ideas in the presence of the Hon’ble Minister. Today, I was privileged to lead the delegation of Hema Foundation the philanthropic arm of RR Kabels, as a part of their Advisory panel. The delegation from Mumbai included Mr Mahendraji Kabra, Chairman RR Kabels, Mrs Anita Maheshwari, Creative Director,Dr Nagpal, Academic Director of Hema Foundation.
As a part of our initiative to help Value Based Education reach every child, we have made 48 movies till now based on 48 values. These movies are being telecasted on Doordarshan every Saturday at 10:30 am. Now the Hema Foundation team has also created workbooks for children and guidebooks for teachers based on these movies. The movies are already dubbed in English and Marathi. The Director, gave us valuable suggestions to make this project integrative and research based in nature. Looking forward for support in this initiative.
